Hi, I'm Paula
A little bit about me.
I am an aspiring technical and content writer living in Pittsbugh, PA. I spent the past 28 years as a paramedic in a high-volume urban EMS system, so I have a considerable base of medical knowledge. I also developed an ability to break down complicated concepts so that they are more understandable to nonmedical personnel, patients and families, as well as to students when I was an EMT instructor.
I'm beginning a new career path, since in addition to gaining experience in EMS, I also gained a career-ending injury. I have always wanted to write, and this is an opportunity to explore the field. I was a copyeditor for my college newspapers, and worked my way to editor at one (Community College of Allegheny County) and assistant editor at the other (Geneva College).
